Now parents can take advantage of golf discounts along with your child. Discounts are provided on a “course by course” basis. All discounts will be housed on the magnetic strip on the back of the card so there are no promotional codes or coupons to remember or present.

How to get involved
When the Spirit of Golf Foundation gets a request from an individual school or even an entire school system, we will contact all the PGA Professionals within close proximity, who have registered with us as being interested in providing assistance. If accepted, at that point we are going to ask you that you “adopt” that school(s). We will then place you in direct contact with the appropriate school official and schedules can be arranged and Lesson Plans discussed.
In order for this program to work, you will need a weekly commitment in both time and training. Time, from the standpoint that we ask for at least one hour a week with the potential for more depending on the particular school. Training, because you are going to be providing expertise to a group of impressionable young people, who are looking to you for guidance.
Why should a PGA Professional get involved?
When selected, you are going to be given the opportunity to grow your client base, add rounds at your club, generate additional revenue and gain stature within the community as a “Friend of Junior Golf”.
As that school’s Professional, you should be able to leverage this new relationship into numerous revenue generating streams. Some of those children you introduce to the game at school might want to take individual lessons with you at your facility. By the way, those kids also have parents! Along with that comes course revenue. Discounted rounds for kids when playing with the full fare paying (or discounted) parents can help fill up a tee sheet. Pro Shop sundries as well as food and beverage sales might also experience growth. During slow times at your facility, Junior Clinics brings in dollars. You will also have the full support of the Spirit of Golf Foundation in any media announcements made and be able to take advantage of any of our strategic partnerships both current and ones created in the future.
